Utelogy Now Supports the Legrand Luxul Network Switch Series
Bringing intelligent network monitoring and management to Legrand AV’s Utelligent Partner deployments.
We’re excited to announce that Utelogy now supports the Legrand Luxul Series of managed network switches, developed in partnership with Legrand AV, a proud Utelligent Partner. This integration brings enterprise-grade network visibility directly into the Utelogy platform, giving integrators and operators a unified view of their AV infrastructure and the network it runs on.
Why this matters for your deployments
Network switches are the backbone of every modern AV system, yet they’ve historically lived outside the reach of AV management platforms. With the Legrand Luxul driver, Utelogy closes that gap giving you real-time port-level monitoring, PoE status tracking, and hardware diagnostics alongside the AV devices you already manage.

| Real-time port monitoring | Per-port link state, transmit/receive rates, and PoE status polled every 15–30 seconds. |
| PoE power tracking | Monitor PoE enabled state, status, and live power draw for every powered port. |
| Firmware management | Trigger and monitor firmware upgrades directly from the Utelogy platform via HTTP, HTTPS, or TFTP. |
| Health & diagnostics | Temperature sensors, fan speeds, CPU load, uptime, and serial number all surfaced as state pins. |
Smart connection state management
The driver is built around Utelogy’s Driver framework, supporting Active, Standby, and Maintenance modes so you can control driver behavior across the full lifecycle of a deployment — from commissioning to day-to-day operations to scheduled servicing.
Maintenance mode is particularly useful for busy deployments: it suppresses alerting connection states on the standard Connection pin while still reporting the true status on a dedicated Connection Status pin, preventing false alarms during planned work.
Alongside that, the driver provides a rich set of connection states (Online, Not Logged In, Not Responding, and No Network) so your monitoring dashboards and alert rules always have the full picture of what’s happening between Utelogy and the switch.

Getting started
The Legrand Luxul Series driver (v1.0) is available now in the Utelogy driver library. It’s compatible with Luxul firmware v1.00.281 and later. Configuration is straightforward, provide your switch credentials and select port assignments, and Utelogy handles the rest.
