Integrated Systems Europe continues to be one of the most important global events for the AV and collaboration technology industry. Each year the show offers a snapshot of where the market is heading—and ISE 2026 made one thing clear: the industry is accelerating toward a more software-driven, cloud-connected future.
In a recent interview with Installation International, Nicole Corbin, VP Product at Utelogy, had the opportunity to share some of her perspectives on the trends shaping the next phase of enterprise AV and connected workplace technology.
Across the show floor and conversations with partners, integrators, and enterprise customers, several key themes emerged.
AV environments are increasingly being managed like enterprise IT infrastructure. Organizations are shifting toward centralized, cloud-managed platforms that allow teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain thousands of devices across global locations without needing local infrastructure.
This shift is reducing deployment complexity while enabling faster updates, improved visibility, and more scalable operations.
Another clear theme from ISE 2026 was the growing importance of operational data. AV systems are no longer just endpoints—they are generating valuable insights that help organizations understand system performance, room utilization, and device health.
When combined with automation, these insights allow IT and AV teams to move from reactive troubleshooting toward proactive and predictive operations.
Artificial intelligence was present across many conversations at the show, but the focus is shifting from experimentation to practical applications. Rather than abstract AI discussions, organizations are looking for real operational value—whether that’s intelligent diagnostics, automated remediation, or deeper analytics across collaboration environments.
The industry is beginning to move toward AI that helps teams solve everyday operational challenges rather than simply adding new complexity.
ISE continues to highlight the growing convergence between AV, IT infrastructure, and broader connected device ecosystems. Enterprise environments increasingly include a mix of collaboration technologies, IoT devices, sensors, signage, and digital experiences that must be monitored and managed together.
As organizations scale these environments, having a unified platform to manage and analyze these systems becomes critical.
