Utelogy Experiencing Email Notification Delays – Status: Resolved 

April 18, 2023, 3:00pm EST – this issue has been resolved

April 18, 2023, 12:30 am EST – working through restoration of service

April 17, 2023, 2:30pm EST-  Utelogy is currently facing a delay in email notifications for alerts. However, if you are using the Utelogy API for alerting, you will not be impacted by this delay. We assure you that our support team is actively working on resolving this issue, and we expect it to be fixed shortly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter.

Azure Routine Maintenance March 2023

Please note, Microsoft Azure will be performing scheduled routine maintenance on their App Services between March 22 and March 29th, 2023.  Maintenance is optimized for non-business hours of a given region. During this maintenance, your App Service application (U-Manage) may see a brief drop in connectivity for a few seconds.

Addressing Okta Statement on LAPSUS$

On March 22, 2022, Okta’s Chief Security Officer put out a press release addressing the news about a potential breach stating “The Okta service is fully operational, and there are no corrective actions our customers need to take.”

This unsuccessful attempt to compromise the account of a customer support engineer working for a third-party provider was based on an incident that occurred in January 2022 and has since been addressed.

Okta is continuing to conduct a thorough investigation and has reached out directly to customers who may have been impacted. Utelogy is not on that list of impacted customers.

Addressing Apache Log4j Vulnerability

On December 10, 2021, the Apache Software Foundation released a security advisory to address a remote code execution vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228) affecting Log4j versions 2.0-beta9 to 2.14.1.

To ensure that all Utelogy Customers and Partners are informed, we would like to address this announcement. Utelogy does NOT utilize Apache web server, Log4j, or Java in our product in any form, either in our U-Manage or our U-Server solution. As a result this vulnerability would not impact your Utelogy deployment in any way.

As best practice, Utelogy conducts daily vulnerability scans and malware monitoring for our U-Manage cloud portal application to alert on threats, attacks, or malicious activity.
