Addressing Okta Statement on LAPSUS$

On March 22, 2022, Okta’s Chief Security Officer put out a press release addressing the news about a potential breach stating “The Okta service is fully operational, and there are no corrective actions our customers need to take.”

This unsuccessful attempt to compromise the account of a customer support engineer working for a third-party provider was based on an incident that occurred in January 2022 and has since been addressed.

Okta is continuing to conduct a thorough investigation and has reached out directly to customers who may have been impacted. Utelogy is not on that list of impacted customers.

For more information and additional updates please read the latest press releases on Okta’s blog: https://www.okta.com/blog/2022/03/updated-okta-statement-on-lapsus/
